Gov. Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti will resume official duties on Monday, Sept. 7, following the conclusion of his two-week annual leave.
The leave was part of the governor’s statutory annual leave entitlement.
A statement signed by Mr Olayinka Oyebode, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, said that despite being on leave, Oyebanji attended to crucial matters relating to the governance and administration of the state.
According to the statement, the governor is returning to office with renewed vigour as preparations for the commencement of his second-term administration gather momentum.
