EKSUTH Management decries recent attacks on Doctors

The Board and Management of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti have condemned the incessant and unwarranted assaults on the Hospital staff and Healthcare givers. 

In a release by the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Professor Kayode Olabanji said the recent attack on the Doctors on duty was an affront and assault too many on the Hospital Management and the society in general.

He noted that the Management will leave no stone unturned to avert the future re-occurence of the urgly situation. 

The CMD pointed out that the Hospital Management has taken necessary steps with the Board of Management, the Ministry of Health, the State Government to fish out the culprits and bring them to book.

According to him, adequate security measures have also been put in place to ensure the security of all staff without fear or favour. 

He however appealed to all workers to go about their lawful duties as their security is guarantee. 

The EKSUTH boss urged the public to always cooperate with Healthcare givers in the discharge of their duties as anyone who breaches public peace will be dealt with according to the laws of land.

Professor, Olabanji assured that the Hospital will continue to offer the best, qualitative and passionate care to the clients.
