The Obalodo of Oye Kingdom, Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo has felicitates Muslim faithfuls in Ekiti and abroad as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
Oguntoyinbo disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Oye-Ekiti.
According to the statement, the Traditional Chief described the Eid-el-Kabir as a celebration to reflect on the goodness and mercy of Allah and his numerous blessings.
Oguntoyinbo urged the Muslim faithfuls to create time to pray and support the State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji and his administration especially for his second term in office.
He advised the Muslims brothers and sisters to celebrate moderately and peacefully
The statement read in part ; ” I want to felicitates our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ekiti and abroad as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
” I want to appeal to them to celebrate moderately, peacefully and be security conscious.
” Also, it is important to support our amiable State Governor,Mr Biodun Oyebanji in our prayers and give him our moral supports as he seek re-election for second term in office.
“Therefore, I am appealing to our Muslims faithfuls especially in Ekiti to support governor Oyebanji for second term in office to enable him continue his good works”.
