The Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) Branch, has congratulated Gov. Biodun Oyebanji and his Deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, on their re-election and swearing-in for a second four-year term.

The association, in a congratulatory message signed by its Secretary, Dr Adegoke Benjamin Olamide, described the occasion as a significant milestone in the political development of Ekiti State.

MDCAN, led by its Chairman, Dr I.A. Kadiri, joined the people of the state in celebrating the inauguration and wished the governor and his deputy a successful and impactful second term.

The association acknowledged the responsibilities associated with governing the state and expressed optimism that the administration would sustain efforts towards improving healthcare, education, security, infrastructure and human capital development.

It said it looked forward to continued collaboration with the state government to strengthen the healthcare system and improve the welfare and working conditions of healthcare professionals.

The association also stressed the need for accessible, affordable and quality healthcare services for residents of the state.

MDCAN commended the Oyebanji-led administration for its attention to the health sector and called for sustained investment in healthcare infrastructure, modern medical equipment and human resource development.

It said such investments were essential to improving healthcare delivery and ensuring that residents had access to quality medical services across the state.

The association expressed confidence that the governor’s second term would provide an opportunity to consolidate existing achievements and introduce new initiatives to advance the development and prosperity of Ekiti.

It prayed that God would grant Oyebanji and Afuye wisdom, good health, strength and guidance as they continued to serve the people of the state.

The association reiterated its congratulations to the governor and his deputy, wishing them a successful and productive second tenure.
