Ekiti State First Lady, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, on Tuesday hosted Oloris from across the state at the Palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, where she commended their vital roles in strengthening traditional institutions and fostering peace and unity across Ekiti.

Speaking during the annual gathering, Dr. Oyebanji described the Oloris as “gracious and distinguished royal mothers” whose presence brought dignity, beauty, and grace to the occasion.

She emphasized the irreplaceable roles the Oloris play in shaping communities in Ekiti, noting that their wisdom, compassion, and quiet leadership continue to inspire women and uphold the cultural values binding the people together.

“Our Oloris play a unique and irreplaceable role in shaping our communities. Through your influence, you strengthen the bond between our people and the traditional institutions that hold our values together. I deeply appreciate your support for our initiatives and your commitment to uplifting the lives of women and children across the state”. She said.

Dr. Oyebanji also solicited the continued prayers and support of the Oloris for the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. She praised him as an amiable and hardworking leader dedicated to building a more prosperous, peaceful, and inclusive Ekiti State.

“As we continue to work for the growth and development of Ekiti, I humbly seek your sustained prayers and support for the present administration. His vision thrives when voices like yours stand with us’. She added.

In his remarks, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba (Dr.) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, highlighted the key roles Governor Oyebanji played during the creation of Ekiti State, describing him as a leader fully prepared for the task of governance.

He urged the people of Ekiti to continue supporting the governor and encouraged the Oloris to take the message of unity and cooperation back to their respective domains

Earlier, in their separate goodwill messages, Olori Abosede Adejugbe Aladesanmi and Olori Roseline Aladejare commended the Governor and the First Lady for their positive impact and unwavering dedication to the development of the state.

They pledged, on behalf of all Oloris, their continued support for the administration through prayers and constructive engagement within their communities.

The visit reinforced the strong ties between the government and traditional institutions, underscoring their shared commitment to advancing the wellbeing of families and communities across Ekiti.

The event also featured royal blessings from the Ewi, who prayed for sustained peace, progress, and prosperity across the state.
