Operatives of the Safer Highway Unit, during stop and search operations along Ado/Iworoko-Ekiti road, arrested one Abiodun Eniola with a brand new unregistered motorcycle.

This is contained in a press statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu and made available to newsmen in Ado-EKiti.

He said Investigations revealed that the suspect went to the shop of a motorcycle dealer at Iworoko-Ekiti, pretended to be a real buyer, negotiated and requested that he tests the motorcycle before buying.

According to him, his request was granted but he eventually ran away with the motorcycle.

He confessed during investigations that he actually wanted to steal the motorcycle rather than buying it.

He stated that he will be arraigned accordingly. (NAN) (www.nannews.com
