Easter Celebration: Ekiti CP felicitates christian faithfuls, assures adequate security

The Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Command, CP Joseph Eribo has felicitated with the residents and the good people of Ekiti especially the Christian faithfuls, on the occasion of the 2025 Easter celebration. 

This is made known in a press statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr Sunday Abutu and made available to newsmen on Friday in Ado-Ekiti. 

The Commissioner, in view of this celebration, has directed all the Area Commanders, DPOs, Tactical and and Intelligence Units Commanders to ensure the deployment of adequate Operatives to all the strategic points across the State to forestall any form of breach of peace.

The CP has therefore, assured everyone of adequate security before, during and after the Easter celebration as enough Operatives have been deployed across the State.

The CP appreciated  the citizens for their support so far, while calling on them to continue to cooperate with the Police and other security agencies by providing timely information that would help in the detection and prevention of crime.

He assured everyone that the Command will continue to do all within its powers to provide safety and security to all and sundry.
