Dr Fatai Lawal , a Consultant in Obstetric and Gynecology has bagged the prestigious award of Health Service Delivery for championing community service through health care delivery in an unprecedented way.
The award recognised Dr Lawal’s unwavering dedication ,compassion and hope for countless individuals and families struggling to access affordable healthcare services.
The award which was given by the organisers of Ekiti Future Agenda @ 15 awards, roundtable and anniversary dinner at Adetiloye Hall on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti was in recognition of individual’s giant strides in various sectors.

Themed ‘Leadership for positive change: inspiring youth participation in public governance and empowering youth voices in policy making.
The Convener , Adesina Adetola in his address , said ” the year 2025 edition of Ekiti Future Agenda Awards was to honour individuals who have made significant strides in various sectors despite the challenges facing the country.
He described Dr Lawal as a beacon of hope for countless individuals and families struggling to access affordable healthcare services.
” With unwavering dedication, he has made it his mission to provide quality healthcare services to the vulnerable members of the society. He said.
In the awardee’s response, Dr Lawal described the award as a profound honour, which serves as an important milestone for his previous effort and contribution in the health sector .

He expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the organisers of The Ekiti Future Agenda Awards for the honor and recognition given to him.
Dr Lawal served as Vice President, Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti ,2017 to 2018. He currently lectures at the Department of Obstetric and Gynecology ,College of Health Sciences, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, (ABUAD).
Another awardee in the health care sector was Dr Ajayi-Alao Omolola for her commitment to the Advancement of Women’s Health and Reproductive Rights.
Dr Alao, is a consultant in the Obstetric and Gynecology department at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital in Ado-Ekiti.
