NUJ SECURES RELEASE OF ARRESTED JOURNALIST, YEMI AGBELEOBA

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State Council under the leadership of Comrade Kayode Babatuyi has secured the release of Dr. Yemi AGBELEOBA from DSS detention.

Agbeleoba was arrested on Tuesday following allegations of incisive statements on a WhatsApp platform.

The EKSU ASUU Chairman, Professor Afolayan stood as surety and signed the bail bond having met the required conditions and requirements which include landed documents.

NUJ Chairman, Kayode Babatuyi appreciated leaders of the Union and comrades for their support.
