WOMAN ARRESTED FOR BREAKING SON’S HEAD WITH PESTLE

Operatives of Amotekun security network Efon-Alaaye Command have arrested a woman, Mrs. Ajenifuja Damilola Clement, 43 for hitting his 9 year-old son Segun Clement with a pestle on the dead at the weekend.

The details of the heinous crime was contained in a statement signed by Amotekun Head of Communications Officer Adewale Adeleye and made available to newsmen on Tuesday.

According to him, the suspect who hails from Akure, Ondo State committed the crime at his residence in Efon-Alaaye during a scuffle with his son over a yet to be disclosed reason.

Upon interrogation by the Officers who made the arrest, the suspect confessed to the alleged crime noting that it was a punishment for Segun’s serial wrong doings.

She was however, promptly handed over to the Police Division in Efon-Ekiti for further investigation while the injured boy is receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in the town.
