Education advisor and founder of Scholarships Cafe, Dr. Olumuyiwa Igbalajobi, has announced a new edition of the 30-Day Scholarship Challenge, a structured programme designed for prospective Master’s and PhD applicants seeking fully funded international study opportunities.

The initiative was created to address three major barriers faced by many applicants: lack of awareness, absence of structured support, and limited access to credible guidance. Scholarships Cafe reports that it has supported more than 80,000 students globally, helping them secure over $3 billion in scholarships across postgraduate and fellowship programmes.

The 30-Day Scholarship Challenge is tailored for graduates preparing for international Master’s and doctoral applications who require clarity, accountability, and expert support. Over the course of 30 days, participants receive step-by-step guidance on developing competitive academic CVs, refining statements of purpose, identifying suitable programmes and supervisors, and preparing submission-ready applications.

Past participants have secured admissions and funding at leading institutions, including University of British Columbia, University of Cambridge, and University of Oxford, among others. Participants have also won major awards such as the Chevening Scholarships, Erasmus Mundus, Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, and the Korean Government Scholarship Program.

According to Dr. Igbalajobi, the programme was established to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity. He noted that many capable graduates miss fully funded opportunities not because of limited ability, but due to insufficient guidance and structured support. The challenge is designed to help applicants move from uncertainty to well-prepared, competitive applications within a focused and supportive environment.

The programme is open to prospective Master’s and PhD candidates from diverse academic backgrounds, including individuals with a minimum of a third-class degree who are committed to strengthening their academic profiles.

Participants receive daily prompts, structured tasks, mentorship, and access to curated scholarship opportunities throughout the challenge. By the end of the programme, participants are expected to have at least one strong application in progress and a clear strategy for pursuing fully funded postgraduate study.

The latest cohort builds on previous editions that have supported thousands of applicants across Nigeria and other African countries in securing funded placements at top global institutions.
