The President of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN), Ekiti State, Dr. Bolade Dele-Ojo, on behalf of all female medical doctors in the state, extends warm congratulations to Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi, on her birthday.

Describing Erelu as a “remarkable woman and a voice to the voiceless,” Dr. Dele-Ojo highlighted some of her exceptional qualities that have endeared her to society:

• Inspiring Humanitarian and Advocate: Erelu’s initiatives, including the Food Bank, Soup Kitchen, and support for vulnerable groups such as widows and orphans, have earned her the title “Mother-General” of Ekiti State.

• Visionary Leadership: As First Lady, she co-sponsored groundbreaking laws, including the Gender-Based Violence Prohibition Act, and co-founded the African Women’s Development Fund, empowering women across Africa.

• Intellectual and Gender Advocate: With degrees in History and Sociology and her work as an author, Her Excellency continues to amplify women’s voices and push for societal change.

• Integrity and Grace: Known for her generosity, relational wisdom, and personal mentorship, she remains an inspiration to many.

Dr. Dele-Ojo remarked, “Today, we celebrate Erelu’s impactful heart, bold advocacy, and transformative influence. We wish her many more years of grace and visionary leadership.”
