The Medical Women Association of Nigeria, MWAN, Ekiti State chapter has decorated the overall best graduating doctor, Dr Oluwatosin Olakunle MOTAJO at the 7th Induction Ceremony of the new set of Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery, Afe Babalola University on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti.
The MWAN president, Dr. Bolade Dele-Ojo while performing the decoration said Medical practice demands not just intellect, but resilience, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to the service of humanity hence the decoration.

The president while congratulating all the newly-inducted doctors, said “Today, we are gathered not only to celebrate the culmination of years of dedication, hard work, and sacrifice but also to recognise excellence in its truest form.

Among this remarkable group of new doctors, one individual has not only excelled academically but has also embodied these qualities with distinction, that person is Dr. (Miss) Oluwatosin Olakunle MOTAJO, the Overall Best Graduating Doctor who received an Award of Excellence from the MWAN-Ekiti.

” Her ground-breaking achievements are a testament to the fact that women are not just participants in the field of Medicine but are leaders and trailblazers.
The Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), Dr. Fatima Kyari concluded the event by encouraging the inductees to continuously improve their skills and adhere to the council’s ethics and code of conduct.

MWAN Ekiti also rejoiced with Dr. Fatima Kyari as the first female Registrar of MDCN since its inception in 1963.
