A well known Ekiti- born media practitioner and publisher, Mr Femi Alufa has announced burial of his mother, Princess Grace Adesola Aduke Alufa (1950–2025), who died on Sunday , August 10,2025.
According to a statement, issued in Ado-Ekiti, on Wednesday by Alufa , who is publisher/CEO of Ekiti Summit News Media, and doubles as the eldest child of the deceased, the final burial rites will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, in Ijero-Ekiti, headquarters of Ijero Local Government Area of Ekiti State
The programme will begin with a Christian wake and service of songs on Friday, Dec. 5, followed by interment and a thanksgiving service at the Christ Apostolic Church (WOSEM Revival Center), Ile Iyanu, Aramoko Road, Ijero-Ekiti, on Saturday, Dec. 6th,2025 by 10 am prompt.
A reception for guests will hold immediately after the thanksgiving service at Adebomi Events Center, Aramoko Road, Ijero-Ekiti on Saturday, Dec. 6th by 12 noon .
The statement said Princess Aduke Alufa was a member of Ajero Royal Dynasty of Ijero-Ekiti.
Her parents Prince Ilesanmi Oke was a scion of Ajero Obaleyakin (Oyiyo Royal Ruling House of Ijero-Ekiti), while her mother, Princess Adegbemile Ilesanmi, (nee Aderuku) was a daughter of Oba Aderuku Arojojoye, who reigned as Ajero of Ijero kingdom between 1916-1930, and doubles as the paternal grandfather of the reigning Oba Joseph Adebayo Adewole.
The late Princess Grace Adesola Aduke Alufa was celebrated for her kindness, deep faith, and commitment to community development, especially through health care delivery .
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and a host of relatives, who cherish her memory.
