A missing female trader reported to have gone missing on Sunday in Ise Ekiti has been found dead.
The woman, (name withheld), in a statement signed by the Personal Assistant on media and publicity to Chairman Ise/Orun LG, Ojuawo Olabode, “came to Ogbese from Ikere Ekiti to buy vegetable for sales as her usual business from Hausa men that trade in food and perishables items at the settlement.”
The statement continues, “One of them, whose name is yet to be known as at the time of filing this report attended to the woman and the woman went missing thereafter.
“The body of the unidentified woman has been found dead and investigation are ongoing by the security agencies to unravel the circumstances that led to her death and bring the perpetrators to face the law.
“Hon Ayodele urged the Ogbese residents and Hausa men not to involved in any act that could jeopardise the ongoing investigation and desist for taking laws into there hands.”
