Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji has called on Ekiti residents to embrace act of generosity and to show love to the needy as yuletide draws closer.
She made the call on Friday while playing host to the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State annual Santa Claus at her office in Ado-Ekiti.
She used the medium to appeal to all Nigerians to cultivate the habit of giving no matter how little it could be and to show love to one another as we celebrate the birth of Christ that exemplifies love.
The Governor’s wife who described yuletide season as a season of festivities and jubilation ,called on well meaning Nigerians to remember the needy at this period.
Dr Oyebanji said she was happy to receive the EKTV Santa Claus at her office, saying santa claus atmosphere always bring joy, excitement and hope to the people both old and young.
The Governor’s wife who was represented by her Senior Special Assistant on Political matters , Hon Toyin Adepoju reiterated her usual support for the state.
In his welcome address, the General Manager, Mr Olu Popoola who was represented by the Director Programs, Mrs Dunni Ayeni, appreciated the warm reception by the wife of the Governor whom she described as the true mother of Ekiti State.
She also appreciated the Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji for the giant strides already ongoing at Ekiti State Broadcasting house saying the station has experienced tremendous development within his few months in the saddle of the state .
