The First Lady of Ekiti State, Her Excellency Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, continues to distinguish herself as a passionate educator and public servant, effectively balancing her responsibilities as the mother of the state with her longstanding commitment to academia.
Dr. Oyebanji, a seasoned scholar and senior lecturer at the prestigious University of Ibadan, was recently seen actively engaging her students in the classroom teaching EME 407: Management Behaviour in Organizations and EME 202: Principles of Educational Administration. Known for her dynamic teaching style and deep subject knowledge, she remains a role model to both her students and peers.


Despite the weighty demands of her office as First Lady, Dr. Oyebanji has shown unwavering dedication to her academic calling. She continues to contribute meaningfully to the intellectual development of future educators and administrators, while simultaneously championing causes that uplift women, widows, the aged, and orphans across Ekiti State.
Her dual impact in education and governance has not gone unnoticed. Dr. Oyebanji’s ability to seamlessly integrate her passion for teaching with her responsibilities in public service sets her apart as a truly exemplary leader in modern Nigeria.


Speaking on her commitment, she once stated, “Education is not just a career for me; it is a calling. I believe that nurturing young minds today creates the foundation for a stronger society tomorrow.”
